Cantilevered Live Edge Maple Console Table

A maple slab was cut to form a live-edge backsplash, then set on 3/8" steel plate and a sturdy patinated steel base for a striking cantilevered look. A patinated steel bowtie reinforces the slab, and the maple is finished with a natural hardening oil.
