Reclaimed Oak & Patinated Steel Barn Doors

This project transformed our clients' primary suite. We clad one bedroom wall in antique reclaimed barn siding, mixing boards with different levels of weathering for a natural, rustic feel, and framed the open doorway to the bath with hand-hewn reclaimed barn beams. The sliding doors are reclaimed oak, hung on hardware we made in-house and treated with ferric nitrate for a rusted, antique finish that matches the patina of the old wood.
