This custom recording studio desktop was built from tongue & groove thermory (heat treated ash wood), and framed with highly-figured hard maple with splined miter joints and lichtenberg figuring. The desktop is finished with multiple coats of  carnuba and beeswax for a warm, polished look that is silky smooth to the touch. The patinated steel supports create a floating effect and provide ample leg room.
